DDRIOC's Signature Certification

Accredited Diversity Facilitator™ Certification (A.D.F)

Our Certification

A.D.F stands for Accredited Diversity Facilitator™. This is the signature certification owned and distributed only by DDRIOC.

Being a certified A.D.F means that you are recognized as having specialized training in diversity and inclusion and are a skilled intercultural communicator. Having this certification means you can speak with your clients, friends, and colleagues with confidence. They will also understand that you are familiar or can comfortably become familiar with their diversity.

Having these skills can be very helpful and powerful for many reasons, including building trust and meaningful relationships. It can help you resolve conflict with a better understanding of the issues; design products with a variety of cultural aspects in mind or recruit talent without bias.

The A.D.F certification is helpful in all sectors, for all professionals and non-professionals.

How to Become an A.D.F

To become a certified Accredited Diversity Facilitator, you are required to complete the Intercultural Communication and Diversity for Professionals Course. This is a 4 day course with helpful tools and tips. For more information about the course, please click here.

Keeping The A.D.F Certification

In order to maintain your A.D.F certification, you will be required to complete 8 hours of continued education in diversity or CED points each year. These hours will be pro-rated, depending on when you received your certification. CED programs will be provided by DDRIOC throughout each year. 1 CED point is equivalent to 1 hour of training. You will be required to keep records of the courses you attended and hours accumulated and submit this to DDRIOC on December 31st, of each year. Failure to do so may mean that you no longer hold the A.D.F certification.
