The ADR ODR Civil/Commercial Online Mediation Training Program is the first of its kind in Canada. Recognizing the emerging changes in dispute resolution to an online format, this training provides delegates with skills to successfully provide resolution services face-to-face and online.

The course is 45 hours long with 15 hours of asynchronous learning and one assignment submission. Around 70% of the course is spent in role-play scenarios giving attendees the opportunity to receive practical experience during their training. The course satisfies the educational elements for accreditations and rosters such the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program and alike, which usually require 40 hours of training. Many courses offered in Canada award up to 28 hours of negotiation-based learning, aspiring mediators are required take two courses for qualifying hours. Following completion of the course, you will have an opportunity to gain international status and recognition as a mediator.

You will become an ADR/ODR International Accredited Civil/Commercial Mediator. The course encourages current and future practitioners to think beyond the Canadian borders and offer mediation on an international platform as well as in North America.
