David Lewis

David is a Qualified Mediator (Q. Med.) through the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC), a practicing labour relations consultant, negotiator, facilitator, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) advocate. 

​He has over ten years of combined experience in case management, conflict resolution, mediation, contract negotiation & administration, and leadership.

His education includes two bachelor's degrees focusing on public policy, human rights & equity studies (YorkU), a post-graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Humber College) and a certificate in labour relations (Centennial College). He has also completed various courses in interest-based negotiation (University of Toronto) and business management (Rotman). He is currently working towards achieving a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies focussing on Equity Studies.

David is passionate about social justice and enjoys volunteering within the community. He has volunteered as a Community Mediator with St. Stephen's Community House (Conflict Resolution and Training). He has sat on the Education Committee of the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators (SOAR). Most recently, he sat on the Board of Directors of Pride Toronto as Co-Chair of the Advocacy, Equity and Human Rights Committee (AEHRC), a committee that advises Pride Toronto's Leadership on current social justice and human rights issues impacting the 2SLGBTQI+ communities. 

David's varied knowledge, life experiences, and passion for helping others make him a well-rounded, out-of-the-box thinker and creative problem solver who seeks opportunities to increase value and make a positive social/human impact.
