Bonny Kaman Li

Bonny has legal educational background with a specialty in Canadian immigration law and international dispute resolution and is currently a licensed Paralegal with the LSO, an RCIC with the CICC, a Mediator and Arbitrator, and a Notary Public appointed by the Ministry of the Attorney General. 

Bonny is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultant, the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice, the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators, and the International Bar Association.

Bonny has a passion for equity, social justice, advocacy, access to justice and peacebuilding. She is also a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC), the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario (ADRIO), Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI), Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR). 

Bonny volunteers at local community legal clinics where she provides free legal advice and information, as well as mediation services, to low income family. Bonny also collaborates with non-profit organizations both nationally and internationally in delivering seminars on such topics as studying/working/living in Canada, employment rights, housing rights, human rights, refugee law, and more. 

During the pandemic, Bonny has initiated a South Pacific ADR Project, where she develops, designs, and delivery ADR training and coaching to developing countries, and encourages the use of ADR mechanisms to reduce escalation of conflict to dispute or war.
