I have had the opportunity to work within both the private and public sector in healthcare which has given me insights into understanding the needs of various people. I have worked both at bedside care as well as policy development and implementation while outlining strategic directions and investments to expand services. As a Mediator I have had occasion to coalesce previous didactic and experiential skills to facilitate dispute resolution. Ethics has always provided the foundation of all educational and workplace pursuits and continues to be a presence in all decision making both personally and professionally. I have always been actively involved in academic research and continue this pursuit to enhance not only my competence but, perhaps more importantly to hone my contributions to the public, whenever called upon.
